Town Of Tiny Dogs

(Chihuahua, Mexico)

Greetings from the town of tiny dogs.

It`s mid-afternoon and the afternoon is free for siesta, shopping, or blogging. Your choice.

I still need to get the blog entries out of my phone and onto the site for all the intervening days from the last report. Honest, I do have the entries, and they will be placed in their correct order. There is a problem left over from the site move months ago that didn´t show up until I started using a feature that I hadn´t used since the Grand Canyon. Oi!

Today was not an early day with breakfast not until 8:30 and out the door an hour later for the morningĀ  tour of the city with stops at the closed Mondays (today) Pancho Villa Musuem (but Pedro sweet talked the guard and we got to see it full of army construction workers repairing this and that), a pottery making demonstration, and then lunch across the street from last nights dinner spot.

This afternoon I have many plans — after siesta time (later this afternoon) it´s off boot shopping (just call me Imelda), snack shopping for tomorrow`s long bus ride back to the US, and cocktails as soon as possible.

Dinner tonight (steak rather than the typical plato mexicana) will be the “welfare” dinner… that´s really a “farewell” dinner, but it´s a Pedro joke. And it´s an early day tomorrow with bags outside at 6am and on the but at 7am so that we can all make our flights that start leaving at 3pm…. Oi!

And now to find all those lost entries! But no photo link until I get back home and upload them all. Be prepared for lots of military boys working on Pacho Villa´s Villa. And those entries have been found and restored — look for the one´s that start out with a date before the blog entry.
