Morning with the accountant. I love the question — how much would you like to put into your Roth-IRA? Which deduction should we take or not take. The answer is two grand. Tomorrow we are off to the stock broker to see what they have to say with regards to worst case scenarios. Learned lots today! More coming tomorrow — and I get to have the will notarized while I’m chatting away with Lynn the Wonder Broker.
At for bonuses — I dropped off an ATSC tuner (that’s HDTV for those in the know) for MoonSong and David as a thank you for all MoonSong’s continuing work on the church. We head back to the church next week for the “potting shed” install. Get that done, get the finish work done on the bathroom, and onto the market the church goes. Still waiting to see what Lynne’s place (that would be a different Lynne) is going on the market so I know where to price mine. Thank goodness the properties are nothing like each other!
And now for the bread. Today’s bread experiment is a Chocolate-Banana bread. The recipe is a combination of recipes from http://www.breadworld.com/default.aspx and http://www.recipesource.com … should be interesting to see how a semi sweet bread works out. The question is — let the machine finish it, or make it pretty in the oven.
Tonight’s meal (the bread won’t be ready, I think) is lamb and salad, or lamb chopped up into jalapeno pinto beans and salad, or hell, just the salad. Greens are good. Time to make some calls and get some dinner parties lined up for the coming week. Friday or Saturday in Olympia for the Mark Stephen Souder Scholarship for Information Dissemination application reading with dinner and wine at Curt’s in return for making him work for supper — and hopefully Jameson as well.
