Lots of work today, and yesterday, and the day before. So that means lots of billable hours. It’s going to be a hell of a bill with the upcoming trip to Dallas on Thursday. I don’t charge (on this account) for time and travel charges (other than the airfare, parking, hotels, etc), but if you are in office all day that’s more hours than I usually bill.
But you don’t care about work — you just want to see who came for dinner and what was served!
Guests:
- Darcie
- Jeanne
- Wonderful
- Uncle Markie
Meal:
- Terriyaki Pork Tenderloins (2)
- Seasoned Roasted Potatoes and Sweet Onions
- Salad
- Bread — good — but looked like the ugliest loaf I’ve ever baked
- Wine
After dinner we took the rest of the bread, which had an almost scone consistency and applied jam for a sort of dessert. The two Grappas we had with the dessert were, well, grappa, like. I like Jeanne’s comments on the Grappa that Jimmy distilled — smells like Butter Rum Lifesavers.
No WII, just lots of hanging out and telling old stories.
