Got out of the house by 9:30… a little later than expected. Stopped in Vancouver for breakfast/groceries/gas at Safeway and made it home by 12:30. Not too bad a drive time.
Just enough time for a nap before starting on a 2# batch of bread – half the dough for sausage buns, half the dough as a round loaf, for tonight’s Bridge RIP party.

Thanks Joan for the pictures of the party at the bridge which I missed because I was hosting. I’d have loved to hear the bagpipers.

Hurt, crushed, destroyed…Hmmm, I wonder who could have brought the cucumber/tomato/mozzerella salad with balsamic dressing? Oh, yes, that would have been me!
I KNEW I would either forget a person or a dish! Why did it have to be YOU! I’ve added it in ALL CAPS as to scream it from the rooftops. If I could only learn the code for red flashing type.
You guys are both too weird. But I love you both.
