Packed the van with the next load. The totes labeled: Electrical, Paint, Drywall, Nails, Screws, Electrical Wire, Plumbing Parts, and god knows what else. That van holds a butt-load.

In the middle of this, just after noon, I’m checking email and there is one from Bonny Doon (last nights winery) with some tag line like 50% off — and you KNOW how that gets my attention….. The port is $2.08 a bottle — and I have a bottle unopened on the counter, so, pop goes the cork — port at noon. Had a small glass and determined, yes, it’s worth much more than $2.08 a bottle — even if all it does is go over ice cream — or better yet, make it into sorbet!

So, $261.29 later, I have a case of port (splits), and two cases of red — that dollar figure was WITH shipping. Now I can’t wait for next weeks sale — apparently they are doing this weekly for a month to clear out the cellar. Guess this means I better check out the fan on the wine cooler and see if I can get it fixed.

More SOB work this afternoon, though it’s ongoing since I answered wholesale requests for information around the clock.

Dinner is big chef’s salad with the rest of the bottle of wine from last night.
