Hellish walk to the rental car place. Hellish rental car checkout procedure. Hellish drive to Plymouth just getting out of London, once that was done, smooth sailing.

Arrived at Mark’s about 5:30pm. That would make it 3.5 hours from Heathrow. Good to know for the return journey.

A lovely roast leg of lamb with some root vegetables and squash, a little broccoli and a couple of bottles of wine make a wonderful story filled dinner.
