Made the 8:55am ferry.

Got new pictures taken of the bus, seat belts installed, air conditioner’s tested, but the bus didn’t get washed. Moonsong is coming next week for two days of exterior cleaning.

Didn’t even shower before heading back to the city — to emails from Marybeth about fixing her lunch. She is recovering from reconstructive surgery from breast cancer and is still stiff, sore, and draining.

Good lunch — made these great salads with all the sides around the outside and the center filed with romaine, topped with canned salmon sprinkled with gorgonzola. Damn fine salad.

After lunch is was a run to Ballard to drop off a key and ferry pass for Moonsong after swinging down Magnolia to see Cassie and Mark’s new townhouses (stunning).

Had enough time for  half an hour nap and a shower before heading out to see this uplifting Chekhov play with Blair. Dinner at Tum Tuk Thai, cocktails throughout the evening of theatre with really cute Russian boy several seats down, then home to Jameson just before his bedtime.

Tried to work a couple of hours, but failed. There is always tomorrow.
