Made the 8:55am ferry with plenty of time. Stop in Anacortes to check tire prices for the bus (think $2,000-2500 for all six tires!) and find a place to get the oil changed (Truck City in Mount Vernon – no price yet).

MoonSong called as I was about half an hour away from home — needed executive decisions which had to wait until I got home. Yes, we are starting to add eaves to the roof. Which means we’ll be doing the roof as well once the new eaves are on.

Nathan and the Priest showed up at 8pm, just as we were sitting down to dinner — good timing. They are headed to Burning Man in a rented 4 wheel drive pickup with a camper shell on it. Can’t say that I would want to join them, but it was wonderful having them for dinner — the spent the night in their rented rig so I didn’t even have to give up my bed.

Tomorrow they head to Portland, then Klamath Falls. Guess this means I’ll be making breakfast in the morning.
