Got out of the house about 1:30 for the journey south to Olympia. Lots of items on the agenda today. Taking the bimmer down since it hasn’t been on the road in a while — and it’s a good thing I did since the battery was a little sluggish starting. It also gets better gas mileage.

Stop number one: Cathy’s place to see it now that she has moved in. She’s done a ton of work — and it’s finally to the comfortable stage. It really was a ton of work — new septic ($18,000), decommissioning an old well, recycled wood flooring — and still more work to do, but at least she in it rather than just paying the mortgage. Nice hour long visit before the light started to fade.

Stop number two: Jameson (and Natalies) for a visit. Jameson is the faux nephew (dead brother’s widow’s new husband) and his girlfriend (Natalie) invited me to dinner (well, actually I invited myself) so I could finally see their place since they’ve been in there over two years now. Spent most of dinner lusting after their roommate Eric.

Stop number three: After dinner it was off to the monthly homo poker game in Olympia — it’s the state capital so there are lots of political wonks at the game. We’ve been getting together for over a decade at this point. Needless to say there was much drinking. I think I came out a few bucks ahead — more when you consider that I sold some porn compilations — stuff that I’m having transferred from 8mm film to DVD. My first sale. Soon those compilations will be for sale at www.sufferware.com, a site that my ex and his wife run.

Long day, longer evening.
