Well — it was supposed to be a garage day working on the “potting shed” for the island — turned into an excursion to the Seattle Art Museum to see the Roman Art from the Louvre with John Weber the owner of Sugar Run Clayworks.
Great exhibit — worth seeing.
The rest of the day plan was cocktails with Deb (from around the corner) and Lynne (from the island) for cocktails at five — and then I was supposed to be at the airport at 6:15pm.
Even that changed — two hours late. Just like last nights run to the airport that didn’t materialize because of a death in the not related to me family. What a rock and roll week — even Marybeth and the kids aren’t coming to the island for the Easter weekend.
So — here is the progress of the flight coming in tonight:
Guess I’d better get onto the road before Swanda arrives. Once I get back from the airport, it’s time for steaks, salad, asparagus and the trimmings in the Seattle apartment.
