Rain, rain, go away, come back when I’m out of town.
What to do on a rainy day? Work in the garage and listen to the pitter patter on the metal roof.
Today’s projects?
- rework the stand for the convection oven to hold the warming oven
- stain the rest of the pieces for the “potting shed”
- hook up the garage computer
which, of course, wasn’t as easy and just plugging in all the cables — turns out the one that had all the right software on it, was the one that didn’t want to read from it’s hard disc. Luckily, there was the Swanda trade-in, and just a few hours of configuration later… including moving the wireless card over, and we are up and running. I must be a geek — there is a full computer setup with touch screen (slated for Son of Bob) in the garage with the cars and the woodworking equipment. Guess I’d better make a dust cover.
Stir-fried chicken and salad for dinner. Just me tonight. A quiet evening in the hood.
