I opened this morning and it was dull, dull, dull with only $150 in sales by the time Jim came in at 1:30. By the time I left after five we were over the 4 figure mark, most of that in the 4-5 timeframe, hence my late departure from the shop. It will be interesting to see how the final number for the day work out.

Dinner at Swanda’s tonight – though I didn’t know what was on the menu until I went shopping downstairs – which, in some ways, was a bad idea since it was right before the start of a Sounders game which meant all the cashiers had long lines.

Swanda made slaw and I came back with a marinated Mongolian beef from the butcher counter – nice, simple to quickly stir fry, quick – just what we needed.

Now if I can only get him to sign on for Palm Springs Gay Pride in early November with his new boyfriend from Austin.

Another workday tomorrow, but soon it will be time for my birthday ramble.
